Computerized tomography
Computerized tomography is necessary for dental surgery planning, including dental implantation, osteoplasty, sinus lift, lower mandibular nerve lateralization and a number of other operations.
Computerized tomography is indispensable for detailed investigation and accurate diagnostics of the tooth alignments and the maxillofacial area section.
Computer tomograph NewTom 3G |
The AGAMI Center is the only Moscow dental clinic commanding its own computerized tomography cabinet equipped with the world-first three-dimensional computer tomograph NewTom 3G. |
Applications
The NewTom 3G allows generating an unlimited number of anatomic exposures for their subsequent use in the following areas:

Advantages of computerized tomography with the NewTom 3G
- Accurate diagnostics helps minimize intervention-related risks. Unlike a flat panoramic exposure, tomography makes it possible to produce a nearly unlimited number of sections. The bone tissue width and height and the distance of the future implant from the mandibular nerve are determined within the millimeter accuracy.
- The opportunity to correctly select the implant type and size in strict compliance with the patient individual characteristics.
- Radiation safety. Due to the efficiency of X-ray waves, examination with the NewTom 3G allows producing comprehensive information with a minimal radiation doze for the patient. The NewTom 3G reduces radiation exposure to the lowest level among 3D tomographs which may be compared with a normal radiophotograph. load.
- Fast examination. Scanning is performed during a single visit and takes no more than a minute.
- Saving examination results. Final image data may be recorded on a compact disk and made available for viewing on a PC-compatible computer.
- The 3D reconstruction of examination results improves the examination informative value and allows more efficiently develop a treatment plan.
