Endodontia

Endodontia — is the area of dentistry devoted to the diagnostics and treatment of teeth root canal diseases. Today, endodontia is one of the most dynamically developing dentistry lines.

Poor root canal treatment and filling eventually leads to inflammation not only of the tooth itself, but also of its surrounding bone tissue and as a result to premature loss of tooth. Even the most well-looking restoration or crown cannot last for long if a canal is improperly filled.

• Where necessary, temporary root canal filling with dental treatment pastes
• Pulpit treatment with biological methods
• Treatment of devitalized teeth discoloration – root canal whitening
• Removal of root perforation consequences
• Tooling of curved root canals with protapers
• Gutta-percha canal filling with the cold lateral condensation method
• Filling of highly curved or branched root canals with thermoplastic gutta-percha

Such sophisticated procedures may only be performed by a high-skill endodontist with the use of specialized optic and associated endodontic equipment. The general dentist qualification proves insufficient in these cases.
