Anesthesia
It is no secret that for many people a visit to the dentist is associated with painful and rather unpleasant procedures. And patients often refer to doctor only when toothache surpasses fear.
Modern dentistry has gone a long way from the times when patients had to "be patient a little more"! You do not need to neglect your health and beauty for fear.
The AGAMI clinic offers the most comprehensive range of up-to-date anesthetic products and technologies which will relieve you from pain and discomfort during treatment!
Application anesthesia
Application anesthesia produces the surface analgesic effect not extending to deeper tissues. It is applied for scaling, extraction of mobile teeth and prior to stronger anesthesia in order to relieve discomfort from injection. Application anesthesia uses gels and aerosols.
Infiltration anesthesia

Infiltration anesthesia is the most common type of pain relief in dentistry, commonly known as a "prick" – injection anesthesia. The anesthetic agent easily penetrates through tissues and the effect is achieved in some 3-5 minutes. This type of anesthesia is used for a variety of dental manipulations — for teeth and canals treatment, pulp surgery, teeth extraction and implantation and a number of other operations. The depth and duration of such anesthesia are sufficient for any type dental intervention over an hour. |
Conduction anesthesia
By conduction anesthesia, the anesthetic agent is introduced deeper, closer to the trificial nerve with the anesthetic effect extending to a wider area. Conduction anesthesia is used for surgical intervention on grinders, gingival surgery and effort and time-intensive manipulations.
For patients still extremely afraid dental surgery, the AGAMI clinic offers a complex solution for this problem: Sedation and treatment under phlebonarcosis!
Sedation
![]() Deep sedation secures full emotional and physical relaxation of the patient who drowns him/herself in superficial sleep, but is able to respond to doctor's commands. |
Sedation (from lat. sedatio – soothe) is the technology integrating a complex of measures focused on patient soothing and relaxing during treatment. The sedation procedure in combination with anesthesia is a safe alternative to deep narcosis. Sedation produces a soothing effect of the required degree, while maintaining him/her alert and, what is important without blocking a number of vital reflexes (deglutitive, tussive etc.). |
Treatment is conducted under constant control of an experienced anesthesiologist. The patient receives a preliminary consultation which helps reveal indications to the use of sedation and individually select medicines and dosage.
